When we need a good counselor, my friend is the best. He is the very best! When friends let us down and we don’t know which way to turn, we can depend on God. We have no one else but God that we can depend on.
Nevertheless I am continually with thee: thou hast holden me by my right hand.
Thou shalt guide me with thy counsel, and afterward receive me to glory.
Whom have I in heaven but thee? and there is none upon earth that I desire beside thee. My flesh and my heart faileth: but God is the strength of my heart, and my portion for ever. -Psalm 73: 23-26
God said these words and I beleive them. He also said, I will instruct you and teach you in the way which you should go; I will counsel you with My eye upon you. Earthly friends, and advisors can sometime be helpful, but God is the ultimate answer for all our problems. Tell Him about all your cares today and commit yourself to Him. When you need someone to guide your direction, commit yourself to God and He will guide you. His wisdom will guide me. Afterware He will receive me to glory.
The Lord will continually guide you, and satisfy your desire in scorched places, And give strength to your bones; And you will be like a watered garden, And like a spring of water whose waters do not fail.Isaiah 58:11
