His Word Sent Forth

This day I call heaven and earth as witnesses against you that I have set before you life and death, blessings and curses. Now choose life, so that you and your children may live and that you may love the LORD your God, listen to his voice, and hold fast to him. For the LORD is your life, and he will give you many years in the land he swore to give to your fathers, Abraham, Isaac and Jacob. -Deuteronomy 30:19-20

I Kings 8:56
Praise be to the LORD, who has given rest to his people Israel just as he promised. Not one word has failed of all the good promises he gave through his servant Moses.

Psalm 91:16
With long life will I satisfy him and show him my salvation.

Psalm 103:3
Praise the LORD, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits–who forgives all your sins and heals all your diseases.

Psalm 107:20
He sent forth his word and healed them; he rescued them from the grave.

Healed and Forgiven

Which is easier, to say, Thy sins are forgiven thee; or to say, Arise and walk? But that ye may know that the Son of man hath authority on earth to forgive sins (he said unto him that was palsied), I say unto thee, Arise, and take up thy couch, and go unto thy house.  -Luke 5: 23, 24

When we are sick, we should be more in care to get our sins pardoned than to get our sickness removed. Christ, in what he said to this man, taught us, when we seek God for health, to begin with seeking to him for pardon. The man whom God healed departed to his own house, glorifying God.  We should be careful to give God praise for his mercy and comfort.

For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that who-so-ever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. John 3: 16

Healings at Peter’s House

The Bible Says:
Now when Jesus entered Peter’s house, he saw his mother-in-law lying down, sick with a fever. He touched her hand, and the fever left her. Then she got up and began to serve them.  When it was evening, many demon-possessed people were brought to him. He drove out the spirits with a word, and healed all who were sick. In this way what was spoken by Isaiah the prophet was fulfilled. -Matthew 8: 14-17

Just as Jesus healed Peter’s mother-in-law who was so very sick, He can heal you today. Have faith in God. He still answers prayer. He’ll do the same for you, as He did for her. God is no respect of person. God lovesus all.

FOR GOD SO LOVED THE WORLD THAT HE GAVE HIS ONLY BEGOTTEN SON, THAT WHOSOEVER BELIEVETH IN HIM SHOULD NOT PERISH BUT HAVE EVERLASTING LIFE. JOHN 3:16

.

Have Faith in God

God wants his children to be completely whole.

And Jesus said unto him, Go thy way; thy faith hath made thee whole. And immediately he received his sight, and followed Jesus in the way. -Mark 10:52

We can have healing of our body by faith in God. Even before the symptoms leave we can start claiming it by faith. In 1 Peter it says: Who his own self bare our sins in his own body on the tree, that we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness: by whose stripes ye were healed.
Start claiming your healing today by faith in God and His Word.

Just A Touch

She only wanted to touch Jesus. Just a touch would be all she needed!

And a certain woman, which had an issue of blood twelve years, 26 And had suffered many things of many physicians, and had spent all that she had, and was nothing bettered, but rather grew worse, 27 When she had heard of Jesus, came in the press behind, and touched his garment. 28 For she said, If I may touch but his clothes, I shall be whole. 29 And straightway the fountain of her blood was dried up; and she felt in her body that she was healed of that plague.
30 And Jesus, immediately knowing in himself that virtue had gone out of him, turned him about in the press, and said, Who touched my clothes? 31 And his disciples said unto him, Thou seest the multitude thronging thee, and sayest thou, Who touched me? 32 And he looked round about to see her that had done this thing. 33 But the woman fearing and trembling, knowing what was done in her, came and fell down before him, and told him all the truth. 34 And he said unto her, Daughter, thy faith hath made thee whole; go in peace, and be whole of thy plague. -Mark 25-34

. She desperately needed a touch and had faith to believe that would be all she needed. The physicians seemed not to help her, so she had her chance to try Jesus. She heard sweet words; “Daughter, your faith has healed you. Go in peace.”

Just one touch today from Jesus is all we need. We may not be able to go to a place where He is in human form, but we can feel His mighty presence by our side and know that He is near. Just reach out in faith, and touch Him today. He will make you whole.

Prayer: Father give us faith to believe in you for restoration of our health, when sickness comes upon us. Set us free from all pain and give us your peace.

WHO TOUCHED ME

She had suffered many years,
She had cried so many tears,
In her heart her hope was all but gone,
Until the healer came through town
She pressed her way through the crowd
When she touched his clothes that’s when he turned around

Who touched me? Who touched me?
He could feel the passion of her need
So when you come in desperation with a hopeless situation
He will move for you, Just one touch will do.

Do you have a broken heart?
Do you carry wounds and scars
That seem too deep for time to ever heal?
Friend, turn to him today
And just reach out in faith
When you touch the Lord you will hear him say.

Who touched me? Who touched me?
He can feel the passion of your need
So when you come in desperation with a hopeless situation
He will move for you, Just one touch will do.

He will move for you, just one touch will do
Just one touch will do. Who touched me?

A Reason To Be Thankful

“Today upon a bus, I saw a lovely maid with golden hair; I envied her—she seemed so happy, and how I wished I were so fair; When suddenly she rose to leave, I saw her hobble down the aisle; she had one foot and wore a crutch, but as she passed, a smile. Oh God, forgive me when I whine, I have two feet—the world is mine.

“And when I stopped to buy some sweets, the lad who served me had such charm; he seemed to radiate good cheer, his manner was so kind and warm; I said, ‘It’s nice to deal with you, such courtesy I seldom find’; he turned and said, ‘Oh, thank you sir.’ And then I saw that he was blind. Oh, God, forgive me when I whine, I have two eyes, the world is mine.

“Then, when walking down the street, I saw a child with eyes of blue; he stood and watched the others play, it seemed he knew not what to do; I stopped a moment, then I said, ‘Why don’t you join the others, dear?’ He looked ahead without a word, and then I knew he could not hear. Oh God, forgive me when I whine, I have two ears, the world is mine.

“With feet to take me where I’d go; with eyes to see the sunsets glow, with ears to hear what I would know. I am blessed indeed. The world is mine; oh, God, forgive me when I whine.”

IT IS A GOOD THING TO GIVE THANKS UNTO THE LORD, AND TO SING PRAISES UNTO THY NAME, O MOST HIGH:  To shew forth thy lovingkindness in the morning, and thy faithfulness every night. Psalm 92: 1,2

It is almost Thanksgiving Day again in the U S A. A day when friends and family all  will join together in a great day of feasting and family fun. Will they be truly thankful—I mean truly thankful to God for the abundant blessings he has given to those of us who live in free countries.

“Dear God, please give to me a thankful heart—a heart to remember your lovingkindness every morning and your faithfulness every night and help me to realize that your blessings are new every morning and your faithfulness is unto all generations.

LIFE AND DEATH

Choose Life:

Everyone wishes to obtain life and good, and to escape death and evil. They desire happiness, and dread misery. So great is the compassion of the Lord, that he has favoured men, by his word, with tree-seek-mesuch a knowledge of good and evil as can make them happy forever.

See, I have set before thee this day life and good, and death and evil; -Deut. 30:15

We are also commanded to love the Lord our God with all our heart.

Deuteronomy 6:5 “You shall love the LORD your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your might.

Our first parents ate the forbidden fruit, in hopes of getting thereby the knowledge of good and evil; but it was a miserable knowledge they got, of good by the loss of it, and of evil by the sense of it.
God has favoured us by his word with such a knowledge of good and evil as will make us happy and healthy.
Deuteronomy 11:26 “See, I am setting before you today a blessing and a curse:
God has shown us the way to obtain happiness and health. We can avoid all misery by being obedient. We are told to depend upon God: He is life, and the length of our days. He gives life, preserves life, restores life, and prolongs it by his power. He sweetens life with his comforts, and is the sovereign Lord of life. In his hand is our breath. Therefore we are concerned to keep ourselves in his love; for it is good having him our friend, and bad having him our enemy.

Seek the LORD, and ye shall live! -Amos 5:6

Food For Good Health

Biblical Nutrition

The Bible diet is the oldest diet on earth because it was established by God Himself in the Garden of Eden.
“And God said, ‘See, I have given you every herb that yields seed which is on the face of all the earth, and every tree whose fruit yields seed; to you it shall be for food.’” (Genesis 1:29)
11:3 Whatsoever parteth the hoof, and is clovenfooted, and cheweth the cud, among the beasts, that shall ye eat.
11:4 Nevertheless these shall ye not eat of them that chew the cud, or of them that divide the hoof: as the camel, because he cheweth the cud, but divideth not the hoof; he is unclean unto you.
11:5 And the coney, because he cheweth the cud, but divideth not the hoof; he is unclean unto you.
11:6 And the hare, because he cheweth the cud, but divideth not the hoof; he is unclean unto you.
11:7 And the swine, though he divide the hoof, and be clovenfooted, yet he cheweth not the cud; he is unclean to you.
11:8 Of their flesh shall ye not eat, and their carcase shall ye not touch; they are unclean to you.
11:9 These shall ye eat of all that are in the waters: whatsoever hath fins and scales in the waters, in the seas, and in the rivers, them shall ye eat.
11:10 And all that have not fins and scales in the seas, and in the rivers, of all that move in the waters, and of any living thing which is in the waters, they shall be an abomination unto you:
11:11 They shall be even an abomination unto you; ye shall not eat of their flesh, but ye shall have their carcases in abomination.
11:12 Whatsoever hath no fins nor scales in the waters, that shall be an abomination unto you.
11:13 And these are they which ye shall have in abomination among the fowls; they shall not be eaten, they are an abomination: the eagle, and the ossifrage, and the ospray,
-  Leviticus 11:3-13

The Ten Commandments Of Health

1. Thou shalt take into thy body each day, pure oxygenated air, the Breath of Life. Thou shalt breathe of it deeply, so that it may bathe each and every part of thy body. For God breathed into Adam and he became a living soul.
2. Each day, thou shalt bathe the outside of thy body in pure, clean, Living Waters and each day thou shalt bathe the inside of thy body by drinking an abundance of pure, clean, Living Waters.
3. Thou shalt eat each day from the earth’s table of abundance of natural, unprocessed, whole foods which the LORD thy God has provided for thee. Remember to eat thy foods slowly, tranquilly, and never to excess.
4. Know ye not that thy body is the Temple of the Holy Spirit and that thou must abstain from all that would pollute God’s Holy Temple? Therefore, do not defile thy body with drugs, alcohol, tobacco, artificial foods, chemical food additives, refined foods and all foods stripped of their nutritional value.
5. Thou shalt not allow a day to pass without some form of physical exercise, for life is movement and exercise is movement.
6. Thou shalt entrust the dark hours of thy day to calm, restful sleep, for God called the light Day, and the darkness He called Night.
7. Remember the Sabbath Day to keep it holy. Six days shalt thou labor, and do all thy work; but the Seventh Day is the Sabbath of the Lord thy God. In it thou shalt not do any work, thou, nor thy son, nor thy daughter, thy manservant, nor thy maidservant, nor thy cattle, nor thy stranger that is within thy gates. For in six days the LORD made heaven and earth, the sea, and all that is in them, and rested the Seventh Day; wherefore the LORD blessed the Sabbath Day, and hallowed it.
8.Thou shalt permit no day to pass without allowing the Light of the Sun to touch upon thy skin.
9.Thou must set aside one day a month to abstain from the consumption of all foods. This shall be a day of prayer and meditation to the LORD thy God.
10. Thou shalt let no day pass without performing at least one good deed for
thy neighbor.

Healthy Living

Food For Thought

Come now,and let us reason together, saith the Lord: though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they be red like crimson, they shall be as wool” (Isaiah 1:18).

Seek ye the Lord

while He may be found, call ye upon Him while He is near: let the wicked forsake his way, and the unrighteous man his thoughts: and let him return unto the Lord, and He will have mercy upon him; and to our God, for He will abundantly pardon” (Isaiah 55:6,7).

This is a faithful saying,

and worthy of all acceptation, that Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners” … “Through this Man is preached unto you the forgiveness of sins: and by Him all that believe are justified from all things, from which ye could not be justified by the law of Moses” (1 Timothy 1:15; Acts 13:38,39).

I am grateful for the courteous, friendly service you have given at this meal. I am also thankful for the privilege to be of service to you by sharing this “food for thought” which speaks of the most important thing in life–the salvation of your soul.

Food plays a vital role in our lives

SOME OF THE BIBLE FOODS
Genesis 1:29 “And God said, “Behold, I have given you every plant yielding seed which is upon the face of all the earth, and every tree with seed in its fruit; you shall have them for food.”

The following explanation of Genesis 1:29 is given according to foods as we know them today:

Every plant yielding seed:
– Grains: wheat, corn, rye, barley, rice, oats, millet, etc.
– Seeds: sunflower, sesame, flax, pumpkin seeds, etc.
– Legumes- soybeans, lentils, peas, peanuts, other beans, etc.
– eggplant, okra, bell peppers, squash, green beans, pumpkins, cucumbers, tomatoes, melons, etc.
Fruits: citrus fruits, sweet fruits, palm fruits, etc.
Nuts: almonds, pecans, cashews, brazil, walnuts, etc.

In Genesis 3:17-19 “And unto Adam He said… And you shall eat the herb of the field”.

Herbs (vegetables):
Leaf: beet greens, brussels sprouts, cabbage, collard, etc
Flower: globe artichoke, broccoli, cauliflower.
Root: carrots, beets, potatoes, turnips, etc.

Meat and Fish is added for man:

After the Flood, in Genesis 9:3 “Every moving thing that lives shall be food for you. I have given you all things, even as the green herbs. But you shall not eat flesh with its life, that is, its blood.”

Milk and Honey:

The Bible speaks pretty well about Milk and Honey:

“and I have come down to deliver them out of the hand of the Egyptians, and to bring them up out of that land to a good and broad land, a land flowing with milk and honey”

Eat in Moderation

“The glutton shall come to poverty… and put a knife to your throat if you are given to gluttony.” (Proverbs 23:2, 20)

“Let your moderation be known unto all men. The Lord is at hand”. (Philippians 4:5)
