My Councelor

I will praise the Lord, who counsels me; even at night, my heart instructs me. –Psalm 16:7

There is a time when we can talk with God undisturbed.In the stillness of the night, Jesus communes with His children. I know from personal experiences.
It is then when in the quietness of night, He gets our attention and can tell me things.

So take heart, Jesus longs to counsel with you. At night when you can’t sleep, try talking to the shepherd. He is waiting to get in touch with His children.

Tell Him all your problems, Tell Him all your concerns. He is listening and will talk to you. Take time to listen and hear His voice.

I will praise the Lord. He talks to me and tells me things I need to know. My heart instructs me.

Sweet Meditation

 

“My meditation of him shall be sweet.”—Psalm 104:34.

What can be more desirous than meditating on the great Creator. His love is from everlasting. He never changes and He desires only the best for His children.

God’s glory is everlasting: We have perfect joy and peace and His pleasures are forever more. He holds the world in the palm of His mighty hand, and there is nothing that He cannot do. His grace reaches to the hurting, lost and dying. He is absolutely wonderful! Our love and glory may fade but God’s love is always sweet, therefore, I have sweet meditation of my Lord.

Psalm 9:2 I will be glad and exult in You; I will sing praise to Your name, O Most High.
Psalm 19:14 Let the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart Be acceptable in Your sight, O LORD, my rock and my Redeemer

Departing From The Faith

Now the Spirit speaks expressly, that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils; 1 Timothy 4:1

John 16:13 “But when He, the Spirit of truth, comes, He will guide you into all the truth; for He will not speak on His own initiative, but whatever He hears, He will speak; and He will disclose to you what is to come.
Acts 20:23 except that the Holy Spirit solemnly testifies to me in every city, saying that bonds and afflictions await me.
2 Thessalonians 2:3 Let no one in any way deceive you, for it will not come unless the apostasy comes first, and the man of lawlessness is revealed, the son of destruction,

2 Timothy 3:1 But realize this, that in the last days difficult times will come.

God’s Temple

 Know ye not that ye are the temple of God, and that the Spirit of God dwelleth in you? If any man defile the temple of God, him shall God destroy; for the temple of God is holy, which temple ye are. -1 Cor. 3: 16,17

Children of God are the Temple that He dwells in on earth. We must be very careful not to defile it. The Temple of God is Holy If anyone defiles the temple of God, God will destroy him.

He is the head of the body, the church, who is the beginning 

So wonderful to know that God’s spirit lives in me and I am the very temple of God. What agreement has the temple of God with idols? For you are the temple of the living God. As God has said: 

“ I will dwell in them
And walk among them.
I will be their God,
And they shall be My people

GOD LEFT PEACE WITH US

He said: Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.- John 14:27.

 The Lord now begins to discuss with them in view of His departure. He was going where they could not come. It seemed they  would be left alone upon the earth. But they now would have the Comforter. The blessed Holy Spirit. His work could go on by the empowerment of the Holy Spirit.

The true believer who has lived near to his Master can find gentle peace in the valley. Jesus is the fairest of ten thousand. Praise Him for being altogether lovely. Let Him know that His love is better than wine. He is the rose of Sharon, the lily of the valley.” Let God’s peace flow through every door and room of your heart.

Prayer: Thank you Lord that I can clain Your peace within my heart. It is mine forever.

The Lord make his face shine upon you
and be gracious to you;
The Lord turn his face toward you
and give you peace.
