New In Christ

Therefore if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creature; the old things passed away; behold, new things have come. 2 Corinthians 5:17

“Do not call to mind the former things, Or ponder things of the past.
“For behold, I create new heavens and a new earth; And the former things will not be remembered or come to mind.

Jesus answered and said to him, “Truly, truly, I say to you, unless one is born again he cannot see the kingdom of God.”

Christ was raised from the dead through the glory of the Father, so we too might walk in newness of life. He then put on the new self, which in the likeness of God has been created in righteousness and holiness of the truth.

He will wipe away every tear from their eyes; and there will no longer be any death; there will no longer be any mourning, or crying, or pain; the first things have passed away.

Isaiah 43:18 – 65:17 John 3:3 Romans 6:4 Eph. 4:24 Rev. 21:4

The Inhabitants of God’s Holy Hill

The Lord our God is holy, and appears so, not only in his holy law, but in his holy gospel. One  who is holy and perfect in God’s sight will enter the Holy Hills of God.
The bible shows us how to be Holy and righteous. One must speak the truth and not slander his neighbor. They speak no evil and do no evil. These are the ones who will abide in God’s Holy Hill. There they will ever …exalt the Lord our God and worship at his holy hill; for the LORD our God is holy. -Psalm 99:9

God’s Holy Hill

1  LORD, who shall abide in thy tabernacle?
Who shall dwell in thy holy hill?

2  He that walketh uprightly, and worketh righteousness,
and speaketh the truth in his heart.

3  He that backbiteth not with his tongue,
nor doeth evil to his neighbor,
nor taketh up a reproach against his neighbor.

4  In whose eyes a vile person is contemned;
but he honoreth them that fear the LORD.
He that sweareth to his own hurt, and changeth not.

5  He that putteth not out his money to usury,
nor taketh reward against the innocent.
He that doeth these things shall never be moved.
