Voice of God

 

And they heard the voice of the LORD God walking in the garden in the cool of the day: and Adam and his wife hid themselves from the presence of the LORD God amongst the trees of the garden.-Gen. 3:8

God came to them in the cool of the day-literally, “the breeze of the day,” the evening. They heard the voice of the Lord God walking in the garden-The divine Being appeared in the same manner as  usual, uttering the well-known tones of kindness and love. But they were agraid and hid themselves. God knew where they were. They were shamed, for ever shamed, before God and angels.  He knows where we are. We can run, but we cannot hide. The Almighty God wants to commune with us. That is why we were created, to bring glory and pleasure to God.

Leviticus 26:12 ‘I will also walk among you and be your God, and you shall be My people.

Deuteronomy 23:14 “Since the LORD your God walks in the midst of your camp to deliver you and to defeat your enemies before you, therefore your camp must be holy; and He must not see anything indecent among you or He will turn away from you.

Liberty

This is the word that came unto Jeremiah from the LORD, after that the king Zedekiah had made a covenant with all the people which were at Jerusalem, to proclaim liberty unto them. - Jeremiah 34:8  

The Spirit of the Lord GOD is upon me; because the LORD hath anointed me to preach good tidings unto the meek; he hath sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and the opening of the prison to them that are bound. - Isaiah 61:1

Christian Growth

We can grow in Grace when we follow the Bible route. Everything we need is included for our journey to Heaven.

The Bible says:

And beside this, giving all diligence, add to your faith virtue; and to virtue knowledge;
 And to knowledge temperance; and to temperance patience; and to patience godliness;
And to godliness brotherly kindness; and to brotherly kindness charity.
 For if these things be in you, and abound, they make you that ye shall neither be barren nor unfruitful in the knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ.
But he that lacketh these things is blind, and cannot see afar off, and hath forgotten that he was purged from his old sins.
 -2 Peter 1: 5-9

Sweet Fragrance

For we are to God a sweet smell of Christ, in them that are saved, and in them that perish:II Corinthians 2:15
Song of Songs 1:3 “Your oils have a pleasing fragrance, Your name is like purified oil; Therefore the maidens love you.

Ezekiel 20:41 “As a soothing aroma I will accept you when I bring you out from the peoples and gather you from the lands where you are scattered; and I will prove Myself holy among you in the sight of the nations.

For the word of the cross is foolishness to those who are perishing, but to us who are being saved it is the power of God. 1 Corinthians 1:18

Ephesians 5:2 and walk in love, just as Christ also loved you and gave Himself up for us, an offering and a sacrifice to God as a fragrant aroma.

Philippians 4:18 But I have received everything in full and have an abundance; I am amply supplied, having received from Epaphroditus what you have sent, a fragrant aroma, an acceptable sacrifice, well-pleasing to God.

MADE PERFECT

To the general assembly and church of the firstborn, which are written in heaven, and to God the Judge of all, and to the spirits of just men made perfect,

Our great hope is for a better and more perfect way of life. Someday it will be.

Let us pray to “be filled with the Spirit,” that we may bring forth increasingly the fruits of righteousness. We should never be content but always seeking to be more like Christ.

God the great judge, does all things well. He desires that we live a sanctified life for Him.
Someday there will be new heavens and earth

And I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away; and there was no more sea. And he that sat upon the throne said, Behold, I make all things new. Rev 21:1,5 (KJV)

Nevertheless we, according to his promise, look for new heavens and a new earth, wherein dwelleth righteousness

Beauty For Ashes

To appoint unto them that mourn in Zion, to give unto them beauty for ashes, the oil of joy for mourning, the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness; that they might be called trees of righteousness, the planting of the LORD, that he might be glorified. -Isaiah 61:3

The Secret Of The Lord

God trusts His children with some mighty big secrets.

The secret of the Lord is with them that fear him; and he will shew them his covenant. -Ps 25:14

Surely the Lord GOD will do nothing, but he revealeth his secret unto his servants the prophets. Amos 3:7

His purpose is hidden from all, until it is revealed to His prophets   And the Lord said, Shall I hide from Abraham that thing which I do; Gen 18:17.

God’s will is revealed to all who love God, which it is not to the world –Mine eyes are ever toward the Lord; for he shall pluck my feet out of the net.  -John 15:15 17:25,26
The secret of the Lord is with them that fear him; and he will shew them his covenant.
He has told you, O man, what is good; And what does the LORD require of you But to do justice, to love kindness, And to walk humbly with your God? – Micah 6:8

God trusts His children with some mighty big secrets. When we fear Him, He will manifest the secret things to us. To love mercy, be kind, merciful and compassionate to all, not using severity towards any. Walk humbly with thy God – Keep up a constant fellowship with God. We have sweet, satisfying companionship from the Lord  when we fear reverend and worship Him. He will show us His covenant and reveal to its deep, inner meaning. In the late hours of night or early morning, comes our great God to us while we meditate on Him and His Word, He comes to us to impart things that will benefit all concerned.  God dwells in a high and holy place. A contrite and lowly heart. Blessed be the Lord that he is ever ready to give his grace to the humble.

Deuteronomy 10:12 fear the LORD your God, to walk in all His ways and love Him, and to serve the LORD your God with all your heart and with all your soul

Deuteronomy 30:15 “See, I have set before you today life and prosperity, and death and adversity;

Isaiah 56:1 Thus says the LORD, “Preserve justice and do righteousness, For My salvation is about to come And My righteousness to be revealed.
