Jesus Is His Name

Jesus! How sweet the sound of this name. It is a name like no other
Jesus! At the mention of this name, one can recieve peace and comfort.

But as he considered this, behold, an angel of the Lord appeared to him in a dream, saying, “Joseph, son of David, do not fear to take Mary your wife, for that which is conceived in her is of the Holy Spirit; she will bear a son, and you shall call his name Jesus, for he will save his people from their sins.” -Matthew 1:20-21

Jesus is the name above all names. Blessed be the Name of the Lord

Jesus came to save his people from sin. There is no other who can forgive our sins, but Jesus.
What a Friend We have In Jesus,” All our sins and grieves to bear. Jesus Lover of my soul!
Have you any problems today. Tell it to Jesus. He cares.

Christmas Love and Peace

Let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts, since as members of one body you were called to peace. And be thankful. (Colossians 3:15)

Peace is something we all want and need to live a good life. At this special time of year, we see many who are lonely and in need. Jesus left us peace when He went away. He did not leave us comfortless, but sent the Holy Spirit to be our Comforter. It’s not the kind of peace that the world wants, but the peace of Christ rules in our heart and fills us with love.

Therefore Christ is God. Peace was His legacy to His disciples before He left them  “My peace I give unto you.” Peace is His to give.

 Peace follows love (Col 3:14; Eph 4:2, 3).
Let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts. The peace of those who are made brethren in Christ and filled with his love. It must reign in the heart, then it will rule in the acts. This is the peace to which Jew, Gentile, and every race is

A Blessed Marriage

And the third day there was a marriage in Cana of Galilee; and the mother of Jesus was there: And both Jesus was called, and his disciples, to the marriage.  -John 2: 1,2

There was a marriage, and Jesus was called. It is very desirable, when there is a marriage, to have Jesus Christ present at it. Our marriage is blessed when we have his spiritual gracious presence.To have the marriage owned and blessed by him: the marriage is then honourable indeed; and they that marry in the Lord (1Co. 7:39) do not marry without him.

We can invite Christ into our marriage by prayer; that is the messenger that must be sent to heaven for him; and he will come: Thou shalt call, and I will answer. And he will turn the water into wine.

Sweet Meditation

“My meditation of him shall be sweet.”—Psalm 104:34.

What can be more desirous than meditating on the great Creator. His love is from everlasting. He never changes and He desires only the best for His children.

God’s glory is everlasting: We have perfect joy and peace and His pleasures are forever more. He holds the world in the palm of His mighty hand, and there is nothing that He cannot do. His grace reaches to the hurting, lost and dying. He is absolutely wonderful! Our love and glory may fade but God’s love is always sweet, therefore, I have sweet meditation of my Lord.

Psalm 9:2 I will be glad and exult in You; I will sing praise to Your name, O Most High.
Psalm 19:14 Let the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart Be acceptable in Your sight, O LORD, my rock and my Redeemer

Our Affections

“Set your affection on things above, not on things on the earth. -Colossians 3: 2

   Things Above

All things below are not permanent. Seek those things, which are above, where
 Jesus Christ sits on the right hand of God. Above there are treasures that we know very little about.

Build your dreams on things above by laying up treasures in Heaven. When we pray, study God’s Word and live obedient to Him, we lay up treasures above.

Only things of God will last forever. His Kingdom will endure forever. No moths can break through and steel in God’s everlasting kingdom. Many things on earth will decay.

Very many put their trust in riches. Satan is leading them in paths of failure. How hardly shall a rich man enter into the kingdom of God. Let the peace of God rule in your hearts, to the also ye are called in one body; and be ye thankful

Earthly things do not last Christ, Who is our life, shall appear, and then shall ye also appear with Him in glory. And whatsoever ye do in word or deed, do all in the Name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God and the Father by Him.”

Despite Our Sins He Loves Us

 But Jesus did not commit himself unto them, because he knew all

men, And needed not that any should testify of man: for he knew

what was in man. John 2: 24-25

Jesus knows us all and yet He loved us enough to lay down His life

for us. I will praise Him forever. His was a supreme sacrifice.

God knows us all well and yet He loved us so. It is impossible for

language more clearly to assert of Christ what in Jer. 17:9,10

explains it very well when he said:

The heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately wicked: who

can know it? I the Lord search the heart, I try the reins, even to give

every man according to his ways, and according to the fruit of his

doings.

Song of Love

1 Though I speak with the tongues of men and of angels, and have not charity, I am become as sounding brass, or a tinkling cymbal.
2 And though I have the gift of prophecy, and understand all mysteries, and all knowledge; and though I have all faith, so that I could remove mountains, and have not charity, I am nothing.
3 And though I bestow all my goods to feed the poor, and though I give my body to be burned, and have not charity, it profiteth me nothing. 1 Cor. 13: 1-3

God is love and all who live for God should walk in love.Every day we neeed a filling of God’s Love. It is pure and holy. Open up your heart today to the love of God. Be filled with God’s love. Then you can be a blessing to all around you.

God’s Love

For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him, should not perish but have  everlasting life John 3:16

The Love of God

My God, how endless is thy love:
Thy gifts are every evening new;
And morning mercies from above
Gently distil like early dew.

Thou spread’st the curtains of the night;
Great Guardian of my sleeping hours;
The soverign word restores the light,
And quickens all my drowsy powers.

I yield my powers to thy command;
To thee I consecreate my days;
Perpetual blessings from thy hand
Demand perpetual songs of praise.

Perfect Love Cast Out Fear

No Fear

The angel of the LORD encampeth round about them that fear him, and delivereth them. Psalm 34:7

When God’s love surrounds us, we should not fear. God’s Holy angels are always there for us. God’s love will cast out the fear, when we live in love. We will be very careful to let God’s word rule our lives and not fear. God’s Words of love can lead and guide us, so there will be no room for fear. Then we have power, love and a sound mind.

For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind. 2 Timothy 1:7

There is no fear in love; but perfect love casteth out fear: because fear hath torment. He that feareth is not made perfect in love. 1 John 4:18

Love Leads The Way

When I was a child, I spake as a child, I understood as a child, I thought as a child: but when I became a man, I put away childish things. For now we see through a glass, darkly; but then face to face: now I know in part; but then shall I know even as also I am known. And now abideth faith, hope, charity, these three; but the greatest of these is charity. -I Corinthians 13:11-3.

God’s way is the wjesuslovesyouay of love. Love, is a strong feeling for a person or thing; hate is a strong feeling against. However, this definition is not biblical. Biblically, the opposite of love is sin. Like love, sin is also something we do.  I John 5:3, says that love is keeping God’s commandments, and sin, is the breaking of His commandments. If we  love what God has revealed, then we must hate sin because it destroys everything God stands for.
