~God’s Grace~

For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Ephesians 2:8

The grace of God is found in His great love for sinners. He longs to do them good. Jesus offered up His body so sinners could be made pure and whole. God’s grace is sufficient for every need. The grace of God brings salvation. His grace builds us up and gives us an inheritance in the family of God. Through faith we accept His wonderful grace. This wonderful grace appears to all men everywhere. 

Thank you Jesus for Your marvelous grace.

When the sun hides its face

And everything is wrong
Just bring your bucket
Let God fill it with grace

Buckets full of grace
Grace for all our fears
And Grace for all our tears
God fill up our buckets 

In times of trouble
Do not turn from God

God has a bucket of grace

Turn to God in faith
And in humility
Ask Him to let down
A bucket full of His grace

Sins hammering your heart
Void of love and peace
Let a bucket of grace
Fall down from above

O come! Do not linger
His grace is sufficient
for all of your many needs

A….. is for all our many blessings of life

N….. is for needy people that we can help

K….. is for knowing of God’s love

S….. is for sacred moments in prayer

G….. is for giving thanks to our great God

I….. is for the invisible hands that lead the way

V….. is for the visits of friends and relatives

I….. is for income that helps make life pleasant

N….. is for nippy weather turning cool

G….. is for God’s kindness and love on our land

D….. is for delightful food we enjoy
A….. is for America, our nation so blessed

God is Supreme

Great is our God! He created the earth and laid the foundations Created In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth. Gen 1:1 All Heaven worships Him. Thou, even thou, art LORD alone; thou hast made heaven, the heaven of heavens, with all their host, the earth, and all things that are therein, the seas, and all that is therein, and thou preserves them all; and the host of heaven worships Him. Nehemiah 9:6 He gives the earthlight: Gen. 1: 14-16 He made the earth. It belongs to Him. He laid the foundation of the earth also. He asked Job Where was he when I laid the foundations of the earth? Job 38; 4 He suspended it in space. He stretches out the north over the empty place, and hung the earth upon nothing. Job 26: 7 He waters the earth and enriched it. Ps. 65: 8 He covers the earth with clouds and prepares the rain to make the grass grow. Ps. 147: 9 

 

  

Our God is Holy! Oh God You is Holy. And he built his sanctuary like high palaces, like the earth, which he hath established forever. Ps. 78: 69 before the mountains were brought forth, or ever thou has formed the earth and the world, even from everlasting to everlasting, thou art God. Ps. 90: 2 you supply our food and give us plenty of corn and wine: Gen. 27: 28 

He created the heavens and stretched them out; he that spread forth the earth, and that which cometh out of it; It is He that gives breath unto the people upon it, and spirit to them that walk therein: Isaiah 42: 5 God also made us. Isaiah 44:24 says – He that formed thee from the womb, I am the LORD that makes all things; that stretched forth the heavens alone; that spreads abroad the earth by myself; 

 

Divine and pure is our God. He watches over us. The eyes of the LORD, which run to and fro through the whole earth. Zechariah 4: 10 there is none like unto Him. God Governs supremely. Whatsoever the LORD pleased, that did he in heaven, and in earth, in the seas, and all deep places. -Ps. 135:6 -I am the LORD in the midst of the earth. Ex. 8:22  

The LORD reigns; let the earth rejoice; let the multitude of isles be glad thereof. -Ps. 97:1 are still, and know that I am God: I will be exalted among the heathen; I will be exalted in the earth. Ps. 46: 10 According as his divine power hath given unto us all things that pertain unto life and godliness.
Great and precious promises are given to us: that we might be partakers of the divine nature, and to escape the corruption that is in the world. 11 Peter 1:3-4

Study

2 Timothy 2:15

Study for God has commanded it.
Study to be righteous in God’s sight
When one studies, he is not ashamed.
He knows how to discern the word
The love o God is shed abroad
By the Holy Ghost in our hearts
I am not ashamed of the Gospel
I am persuaded that he is able
To keep, to fulfill, to satisfy
Study the Word

2 Timothy 2:15  “Study to show thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.” KJV

2 Tim 3:16-17  “All Scripture is inspired by God and is useful to teach us what is true and to make us realize what is wrong in our lives. It straightens us out and teaches us to do what is right.

 

God Protects His Children

 Gentle Dove

 

Sometimes in life the way is rough

And seems it’s headed for a bluff

 

With eyes turned to Heaven above

Perhaps there’ll be a gentle dove

 

To bring stillness in the storm

To let us feel God’s love so warm

Christ in Our Storms

And they came to him, and awoke him, saying, Master, master, we perish. Then he arose, and rebuked the wind and the raging of the water: and they ceased, and there was a calm. Luke 8:24

. The powers of the air can bring terror to humans, especially upon sea. He rebuked the wind and the raging of the water, and immediately they ceased and there was a great calm. Satan would love to have total control of the power of the air, but Christ is the one who controls it all. His power over the winds, are great.

Christ’s desires to calm the storms of our life. He delights in doing it, for he came to proclaim peace on earth. God’s power is the ultimate and just as He rebuked the wind, and said unto the sea, “Peace, be still”.  He can reach down and rebuke our storms in life and give us great calmness. 

What manner of man is this! Which stills the noise of the seas, the noise of their waves, and the tumult of the people. Then are they glad because they are quiet; so he brings them unto their desired haven.  -Ps. 65:7 107: 30

Let us give glory to God for his power.

 

 

The Big Wedding

They wanted wine, but there wasn’t any available. What was one to do with all the guest that had come.  But wait, someone had a plan. A plan that would work and make the day just right. Mary had faith that Jesus could make everything right. He certainly can and He will make everything right in our life too, when we trust in Him

THE BIBLE SAYS:

And when they wanted wine, 

the mother of Jesus saith unto him, 

“They have no wine.”

-John 2:3

In Cana

 

There was to be a wedding

In the little town of Cana

Jesus was invited, and Jesus mother  also.

Oh, to have the Master present!

It must have been a happy day.

This wedding was not ordinary.

It was very special

 

It happens they ran out of wine

It must have been embarrassing

Never fear, Jesus is near

His mother probably thought

She sent for Jesus to come

They have no more wine, said Mary

Jesus simply replied, “Do as I say

 

Mary said, Do whatsoever He says

Nearby stood six stone water jars

Take these water pots and fill with water

the master of the banquet tasted the water

The best he had ever tasted

Christ blessed their marriage with peace

He turned the water into wine

 

Now when things in our life go wrong

We need never fear, Jesus us near

He will perform a miracle for you

If to Him you are true

Jesus loves to do good things for us

He will turn our water into wine

In the little town where we live

AMAZED AT HIS GREAT LOVE

Are not two sparrows sold for a farthing? And one of them shall not fall on the ground without your Father. Mathew 10:29

Life is filled with many trials and test, but our Heavenly Father cares for us. He cares more than we will ever fathom. He never plays a deaf ear to our cries. We can call unto Him any time or anywhere. No, He never turns His children away for He is very sensitive to our needs. In our times of distress He cares. That’s just the way He is. He loves His children. The good news is that He will always be that way.

I stand amazed at His greatness. With all the world’s problems and concerns, He still focus’s in on each one of us individually. How amazing is that?

O Lord you are so good. I stand amazed in your presence. Thank you that you will guide me by your counsel and afterward receive me up into glory. 

 Why should He love me so
My heart and soul is all aglow
I probably will never know why
But I do know that He is nigh

Not Afraid

 

 

When we are afraid, we can find encouragement in God’s Word. We have God’s promise for every situation in life. We only have to trust in Him. Even thought the economy looks bad, we still have faith in God for He has promised to never leave or forsake His Children. God speaks with tenderness to us in His Word  “Fear thou not, for I am with thee.” He will be faithful and just and always there to help us with His hand of righteousness.

 From God’s Word we read …

Fear thou not; for I am with thee. Be not dismayed; for I am thy God. I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of My righteousness.  -  Isaiah 41:10

Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil; for Thou art with me; Thy rod and Thy staff they comfort me. Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine

enemies; Thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over.  -  Psalm 23:4-5

Have not I commanded thee? Be strong and of good courage; be not afraid, neither be thou dismayed;for the Lord thy God is with thee wherever thou goest.  -  Joshua 1:9

Thou shalt not be afraid for the terror by night, not for the arrow that flieth by day, nor for the pestilence that walketh in darkness, not for the destruction that wasteth at noonday…for He shall give

His angels charge over thee, to keep thee in all thy ways.  -  Psalm 91:65,6,11

He hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee. So that we may boldly say, The Lord is my Helper, and I will not fear what man shall do unto me.  -  Hebrews 13:5-6

Home

~~HOUSE BUILD BY GOD~~

There’s a home being build now.
It is a beautiful dwelling place with God.
Jesus calls this home a mansion. 
He said He is now preparing it. (John. 14:2-3)  

He laid the foundation for it, and made it of living stones
 All of them are precious in His sight (Eph. 1:3-4)
He is the chief cornerstone of this home (I Pet. 2:4-6). 
God now makes His home in our hearts forever (John. 14:23).

Have you heard about this home? You would really love it.
It is furnished by the Savior, who satisfies every need
Living in this home, with my Lord so grand
We are abundantly satisfied 
The home is waiting with treasures untold

We shall drink of the river of pleasures. Ps. 36:8
The one who dwells in God’s courts shall be satisfied
With every good thing, I am sure. Psalm 65:4
I will dwell in the house of the Lord forever” (Ps. 23:6)

BOOK OF REMEMBRANCE

 

 

 

I often read in God’s Holy Word

Of a very special book. Have you heard?

It brings great interest to my mind

A Book of Remembrance, 

and it’s one of a kind

 

It is for those that fear the Lord

That speaks often of Him, in one accord

Our Lord listens and hears it all

Sp let your praises, on His ear fall

 

We shall be His jewels in that great day.

Lord, let my life please you, this I pray

We are His special treasure

And we should have the greatest pleasure

 

I sometimes wonder, what’s in this book

Maybe someday I can take a look.

I wonder if my life will be full of good deeds

Please don’t let it be choked with weeds

 

We are very much valued by God.

It should not seem to be that odd

I must think upon His name and fear Him

 Meditate on Him, so life’s road will not be dim

 

 Fear the Lord, think highly of Him.

Read His Holy Word or sing a hymn

Ponder His significance ways in our lives.

For us God has pride, and in His children thrives

 

Oh yes, God values us very much.

Our chief joy should be feeling His touch

We should give glory to His Name

Never ever, bring Him shame

 

Will God be pleased with the book of me?

 All my deeds there he will see

I must give glory to His Name

Tell of all His lovely fame

 

And someday, perhaps there will be

A Book of Remembrance written for me
