WHAT IS LIFE

For the life was manifested, and we have seen it, and bear witness, and shew unto you that eternal life, which was with the Father, and was manifested unto us- 1 John 1:2

Life as we know it:

The time for which something exists or functions:

The property or quality that distinguishes living organisms from dead organisms and inanimate matter, manifested in functions such as metabolism, growth, reproduction, and response to stimuli or adaptation to the environment originating from within the organism.

Life in God:
For the life was manifested, and we have seen it, and bear witness, and shew unto you that eternal life, which was with the Father, and was manifested unto us- 1 John 1:2

Eternal life-Greek, “the life which is eternal.”
The life was seen and shown. Jesus the Son Of God manifested life in the flesh.
This is thesame eternal life, which we shall always enjoy.

Treasury Of Wisdom

That their hearts might be comforted, being knit together in love, and unto all riches of the full assurance of understanding, to the acknowledgement of the mystery of God, and of the Father, and of Christ; In whom are hid all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge. And this I say, lest any man should beguile you with enticing words. -Colossians 2: 2-4

The purpose of this ministry is to bring encouragment and unity to the body of Christ. Then Christ will be made known in whom are hidden treasures, wisdom and knowledge. If not settled on a firm foundation, our faith could be easily uprooted and decieved with fine sounding talks and arguments which deny the power of Christ

Matthew 13:11 Jesus answered them, “To you it has been granted to know the mysteries of the kingdom of heaven, but to them it has not been granted.

God Is Faithful

So that ye come behind in no gift; waiting for the coming of our Lord
Jesus Christ: Who shall also confirm you unto the end, that ye may be
blameless in the day of our Lord Jesus Christ. God is faithful, by whom
ye were called unto the fellowship of his Son Jesus Christ our Lord. 1
Cor. 1:7-9

As we await the coming of our Lord and Savior, we can have the
spiritual gifts, that is in the Word of God. He said, ” Now concerning
spiritual gifts, brethren, I would not have you ignorant.” 1 Cor. 12:1.
We do not have to lack anything. God gives good gifts to his children.
God is faithful to keep us unto the coming of the Lord. He can and will
keep us from accusations and indictments. He who has called us into
fellowship with His Son, never fails us.

Now unto him that is able to keep you from falling, and to present you
faultless before the presence of his glory with exceeding joy. Jude 24

Echo Of Love

As it is written in the book of the words of Esaias the prophet, saying, The voice of one crying in the wilderness, Prepare you the way of the Lord, make his paths straight.Luke 3:4
Prepare for Me and walk straight paths. Do you hear God’s voice calling from the wilderness of life? The mountainous way of life can be rugged and long, but His way is straight and narrow. This King of Glory is marching your way today.Hear the voice calling who so ever will. Open wide the gate and invite Him to enter

A voice is calling, “Clear the way for the LORD in the wilderness; Make smooth in the desert a highway for our God. Isaiah 40:3

Believer’s Privilege

“Ye have not received the spirit of bondage again to fear; but ye have received the Spirit of adoption, whereby we cry, Abba, Father. The Spirit Himself beareth witness with our spirit, that we are the children of God.” – Romans 8:15-16

When we believe in Christ, God bears witness within us by His Spirit that we are true children of God. That is something an unbeliever will never experience. The Spirit gives us confidence that we are children of God, and we respond by calling Him “Abba,” which means “Pappa,” or “Daddy.” Some might say, If you believe and take the step of faith, the witness will be confirmed in your heart by the presence of the Holy Spirit.

Vessels of Gold

And all king Solomon’s drinking vessels were of gold, and all the vessels of the house of the forest of Lebanon were of pure gold; none were of silver: it was nothing accounted of in the days of Solomon. – 1 Kings 10: 21
Solomon had a great kingdom and increased his wealth. Silver was nothing unusual in his surroundings. That is the way the nature of worldly wealth is.  Plenty of it makes it the less valuable. Then much more should the enjoyment of spiritual riches lessen our esteem of all earthly possessions.
1Kings 10:20 Twelve lions were standing there on the six steps on the one side and on the other; nothing like it was made for any other kingdom.
1 Kings 10:22 For the king had at sea the ships of Tarshish with the ships of Hiram; once every three years the ships of Tarshish came bringing gold and silver, ivory and apes and peacocks.
In Solomon’s greatness, we see the performance of God’s promise. It should encourage us to seek first the righteousness of God’s kingdom. He has great riches and pleasures awaiting for us.
Solomon having tasted all earthly enjoyments, wrote a book, to show the vanity of all worldly things, the vexation of spirit that attends them, and the folly of setting our hearts upon them.  He recommends serious godliness,  which will make us happy that all the wealth and power he was master of, and, through the grace of God, it is within our reach. If gold in abundance, would make silver seem so despicable, shall not wisdom and grace, and the foretastes of heaven, make gold seem much more so?

~God’s Blessings~

The Lord blesses thee, and keeps thee. (Numbers 6:24
What a promise! He will bless and keep His children. No need to worry. That takes care of everything. When we have God’s blessings on our life, we are blessed. When God keeps us, we need not worry about fear or terror. We know God is going to watch over us. He will never leave or forsake His children Blessings are upon the head of the just: but violence covers the mouth of the wicked. -Proverbs 10: 6
We can pray this prayer of blessing and keeping, daily over our friends, neighbors and family.
In hope of eternal life, which God, that cannot lie, promised before the world began; Titus 1:2

HAPPY MOTHER’S DAY TO ALL MOTHERS

One generation of mothers to another. Each leading  and living a Holy life with God first in her life  leads to another new generation of women that care and love.

Who can find a virtuous woman? She is far more precious than jewels… Strength and honor are her clothing, and she can laugh at the time to come. She opens her mouth with wisdom, and loving instruction is on her tongue. She watches over the activities of her household and is never idle. Her sons rise up and call her blessed. He husband also praises her: Many women are capable, but you surpass them all! Charm is deceptive and beauty is fleeting, but a woman who fears the Lord will be praised. ~Proverbs 31:10, 25-30

Celebrating Thanksgiving

THANKSGIVING IS A TIME TO BE THANKFUL

thankgiv-wreathAs Christians we look forward to the time of the year when we celebrate Thanksgiving with our families. These holidays have special meaning for the Christians as we reflect upon our blessings.  At Thanksgiving, American Christians find plenty to be thankful  for. God has blessed us abundantly .

We are truly a blessed people.  No one has to go to bed hungry.  God is good to His children, and wants the best for them, but at the same time,  He deserves our highest praise and thanks!

David said it this way:

 Thanksgiving to God

1 O come, let us sing unto the LORD: let us make a joyful noise to the rock of our salvation.
2 Let us come before his presence with thanksgiving, and make a joyful noise unto him with psalms.
3 For the LORD is a great God, and a great King above all gods.
4 In his hand are the deep places of the earth: the strength of the hills is his also.
5 The sea is his, and he made it: and his hands formed the dry land.
6 O come, let us worship and bow down: let us kneel before the LORD our maker.
7 For he is our God; and we are the people of his pasture, and the sheep of his hand. To day if ye will hear his voice,
8 Harden not your heart, as in the provocation, and as in the day of temptation in the wilderness:
9 When your fathers tempted me, proved me, and saw my work.
10 Forty years long was I grieved with this generation, and said, It is a people that do err in their heart, and they have not known my ways:
11 Unto whom I sware in my wrath that they should not enter into my rest.

-Psalms 95
