Sleep In Peace

I will lie down in peace and sleep, for you alone, O LORD, will keep me safe.” Psalm 4:8 (NLT)

God tells us to lay aside all things that concern us and rest. Let him take care of all our problems. There are rough times in life when problems and cares boggle us down, and we all have them.

The conflict may be hard, but out of it all comes more trust and strenght. We can then witness to others of God’s loving care. In Jesus we have the answer to all that concerns us. We can leave our cares with him and rest assured that he will take care of them.

  My Shepherd

The LORD is my shepherd; I shall not want. -Psalm 23: 1

Christ’s relation to His people is like a shepherd “The Lord is my shepherd.” We have great satisfaction knowing that our soul is in the care of the great Pastor of the universe, the Redeemer and Preserver of all.
We have a shepherd, and that shepherd is Jehovah.

A flock of sheep, gentle and harmless, feeding in verdant pastures, under the care of a skilful, watchful, and tender shepherd, forms an emblem of believers brought back to the Shepherd of their souls. He gives us refreshment, guidance, protection, and everything we need in abundance. He leads His own people like sheep and guides them like a flock in the wilderness
