HAPPY EASTER

Wishing you a Happy Easter filled with all the things that make a happy heart!

May you live forever in the light of Christ’s resurrection.  Wishing you the blessings of Easter.  I am the resurrection and the life.  He who believes in me will live, even though he dies; and whoever lives and believes in me will never die. (John 11:25-26)

Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ! In his great mercy he has given us new birth into a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead. (1 Peter 1:3

It Is Finished

There’s a line that is drawn through the ages
On that line stands an old rugged cross
On that cross, a battle is raging
To gain a man’s soul or it’s loss
On one side, march the forces of evil
All the demons, all the devils of hell
On the other, the angels of glory
And they meet on Golgotha’s hill
The earth shakes with the force of the conflict

It is finished, the battle is over

It is finished and Jesus is Lord

Yet in my heart, the battle was still raging

Easter Glory

“They crucified Him, and with Him two others.” John 19:18

This is the true meaning of Easter:

 Jesus dying on the cross for our sins and resurrecting from the grave.

I Believe In A Hill Called Mount Calvary

I believe in a hill called mount calvary
I believe whatever the cost
And when time has surrendered
And earth is no more
I’ll still cling to the old rugged cross

I believe that this life with its great mysteries
Surely someday will come to an end
But faith will conquer the darkness and death
And will lead at last to my friend

Who was slain on the cross

Up Calvary’s Hill

And as they led him away, they laid hold upon one Simon, a Cyrenian, coming out of the country, and on him they laid the cross, that he might bear it after Jesus. Luke 23: 26

Walking My Lord Up Calvary’s Hill

On the cross as He hung and in

There is a Fountain

For this is my blood of the new testament, which is shed for many for the remission of sins. Matthew 26:28
Whom God hath set forth to be a propitiation through faith in his blood, to declare his righteousness for the remission of sins that are past, through the forbearance of God; Romans 3:25
And that repentance and remission of sins should be preached in his name among all nations, beginning at Jerusalem. Luke 24:27

Thank you Jesus for dying on the cross for me and everybody

 There is a Fountain

That Man of Galilee

 That man of Galilee was called Jesus. He came down from his glory and died on the old rugged cross. The way was made clear and the church lives on, by his marvelous grace.

And I say also unto thee, That thou art Peter, and upon this rock I will build my church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.
Matthew 16:18
And hath put all things under his feet, and gave him to be the head over all things to the church. Eph. 1:22
 And while they abode in Galilee, Jesus said unto them, The Son of man shall be betrayed into the hands of men. And they shall kill him, and the third day he shall be raised again. And they were exceeding sorry.Matthew 17: 22, 23

Three Old Rusty Nails

He came from Galilee, carpenter by trade,
Came to build His Father’s church, on plans, that they had made.
His destinity was calvary, His mission would not fail,
He would build His church, on a rugged cross, and three old rusty nails.

BE A RAY OF SUNSHINE

“Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in Heaven.” Matthew 5:16

Gift Of Love

 Thanks be unto God for his unspeakable gift. — 2 Cor. 9:15

    For unto us a child is born, unto us a son
   is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counselor, The mighty God, The everlasting
   Father, The Prince of Peace.

 He … spared not his own Son, but delivered him up for us all.
  Having yet … one son, his well-beloved, he sent him into the world, to live among sinful ones.

Oh that men would praise the Lord for his goodness, and for his
   wonderful works to the children of men! — Bless the Lord, O my soul:

and all that is within me, bless his holy name.

   My soul doth magnify the Lord, and my spirit hath rejoiced in God my Saviour.

C-H-R-I-S-T-M-A-S

“C” is for the Christ Child born upon this day;
“H” for herald angels in the night.
“R” means our Redeemer;
“I” means Israel;
“S” is for the star that shone so bright.
“T” is for the three wise men,
They who traveled far.
“M” is for the manger where He lay.
“A” is for all He stands for;
“S” means shepherds came,
And that’s why there’s a Christmas Day.
