Nothing Else Matters But God

BUT GOD AND OUR RELATIONSHIP WITH GOD!

Heaven and earth will pass away, but God’s Word will stand forever. God is our only hope.

Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path.
Psalm 119:105 (KJV)

Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will make your paths straight.
Psalm 3:5,6 (NIV)

The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom, and knowledge of the Holy One is understanding.
Proverbs 9:10 (KJV)

God Is Faithful

As we await the coming of our Lord and Saviour, we can have the spiritual gifts, that is in the Word of God. He said, ” Now concerning spiritual gifts, brethren, I would not have you ignorant.” 1 Cor. 12:1.  We do not have to lack anything. God gives good gifts to his children.

So that ye come behind in no gift; waiting for the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ: Who shall also confirm you unto the end, that ye may be blameless in the day of our Lord Jesus Christ. God is faithful, by whom ye were called unto the fellowship of his Son Jesus Christ our Lord. 1 Cor. 1:7-9

God is faithful to keep us unto the coming of the Lord. He can and will keep us from accusations and indictments. He who has called us into fellowship with His Son, never fails us.

Now unto him that is able to keep you from falling, and to present you faultless before the presence of his glory with exceeding joy. -Jude 24

Because God Loved Us

God gave His life for all the world. He gave his life for you and all the world. He did it because He love us. What great love my Saviour had for all the world.
 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.  _ John 3:16

Up Calvary’s Hill

And as they led him away, they laid hold upon one Simon, a Cyrenian, coming out of the country, and on him they laid the cross, that he might bear it after Jesus. Luke 23: 26

Walking My Lord Up Calvary’s Hill

On the cross as He hung and in
Shame was forsaken
As they drove the nails
In His hands and His feet..
As death closed His eyes,
His cries went to Heaven
Oh Father forgive them
I hear Him repeat

One morning past daybreak
As the crowd slowly gatherer
Like a sheep he was humble
To His Father’s own will

So sad was his face
That the birds stopped their singing
They were walking my Lord
Up Calvary’s Hill.

In a tomb He was laid
But death could not hurt Him
He was God’s only son
In this world below

On the cross He fulfilled the
Plan of Salvation
I want to thank Jesus
For He’s coming again.

One morning past daybreak
As the crowd slowly gatherer
Like a sheep he was humble
To His Father’s own will

So sad was his face
That the birds stopped their singing
They were walking my Lord
Up Calvary’s Hill.

There is a Fountain

For this is my blood of the new testament, which is shed for many for the remission of sins. Matthew 26:28
Whom God hath set forth to be a propitiation through faith in his blood, to declare his righteousness for the remission of sins that are past, through the forbearance of God; Romans 3:25
And that repentance and remission of sins should be preached in his name among all nations, beginning at Jerusalem. Luke 24:27

Thank you Jesus for dying on the cross for me and everybody

 There is a Fountain
Ancient hymn of the faith. “There is a Fountain” is performed by Selah. Video clips are from The Passion of the Christ.

There is a fountain filled with blood
drawn from Emmanuel’s veins;
And sinners plunged beneath that flood
lose all their guilty stains,
lose all their guilty stains,
lose all their guilty stains;
And sinners plunged beneath that flood
lose all their guilty stains.

The dying thief rejoiced to see
that fountain in his day;
And there may I, though vile as he,
wash all my sins away,
wash all my sins away,
wash all my sins away;
And there may I, though vile as he,
wash all my sins away.

E’er since, by faith, I saw the stream
Thy flowing wounds supply,
Redeeming love has been my theme,
and shall be till I die,
and shall be till I die,
and shall be till I die;
Redeeming love has been my theme,
and shall be till I die.

God Will Take Care of You

Sure hope this beautiful old hymn be an encouragement to someone. This is an inspirational song letting you know, that God will see you through your problems. The Bible says: …Are not five sparrows sold for two farthings, and not one of them is forgotten before God? But even the very hairs of your head are all numbered. Fear not therefore: ye are of more value than many sparrows. —Luke 12: 6,7

What joy to know that our Heavenly Father loves us so.

Enjoy!

God Will Take Care of You

Be not dismayed whate’er betide,
God will take care of you;
Beneath His wings of love abide,
God will take care of you.
Refrain:
God will take care of you,
Through every day, o’er all the way;
He will take care of you,
God will take care of you.
Through days of toil when heart doth fail,
God will take care of you;
When dangers fierce your path assail,
God will take care of you.
All you may need He will provide,
God will take care of you;
Nothing you ask will be denied,
God will take care of you.
No matter what may be the test,
God will take care of you;
Lean, weary one, upon His breast,
God will take care of you.

No Grave Gonna Hold Me Down

We recently had Betty Jean Robinson at our church, and she was a blessing to all. I am currently reading her biography.

Enjoy one of her songs below.

Recorded from a TBN Praise A Thon 1983.
Betty Jean Robinson, Buck & Dottie Rambo, Roger McDuff, Steve Brock, and Paul & Jan.

 THERE AIN’T NO GRAVE

                        I

WELL GO DOWN YONDER GABRIEL
PUT YOUR FOOT ON LAND AND SEA
BUT GABRIEL DON’T YOU BLOW THAT TRUMPET
UNTIL YOU HEAR FROM ME
I LOOKED WAY OVER YONDER
WHAT DO YOU THINK I SEEN
I SAW A BAND OF ANGELS
THEY WERE COMING AFTER ME

                   CHORUS

WELL THERE AIN’T NO GRAVE
GONNA HOLD MY BODY DOWN
THERE AIN’T NO GRAVE
GONNA HOLD MY BODY DOWN
WHEN I HERE THAT TRUMPET SOUND
GONNA GET UP OUT OF THE GROUND
CAUSE THERE AIN’T NO GRAVE
GONNA HOLD MY BODY DOWN

                   II

GO DOWN TO THE RIVER JORDAN
PUT MY KNEES DOWN IN THE SAND
GONNA HOLLER HALLELUJAH
TILL I REACH THAT PROMISED LAND
WELL MEET ME JESUS MEET ME
MEET ME IN THE MIDDLE OF THE AIR
AND IF THESE WINGS SHOULD FAIL ME
I WON’T NEED ANOTHER PAIR

 Do you know Jesus ?  He died for you and is waiting for you to give your heart to Him. Invite Him into your heart today by faith. He will be your Lord and Saviour. If you believe in your heart and confess with your mouth, you will be “saved”. You are now a part of the family of God. Let us know if you prayed this prayer and we will rejoice with you.

I Didn’t Hear Nobody Pray

CHORUS
I didn’t hear nobody pray, dear brother
I  didn’t hear nobody pray
I heard the crash on the highway
But, I didn’t hear  nobody pray.

THE WRECK ON THE HIGHWAY
Recorded by Roy Acuff
Written by Dorsey Dixon

[A] Who did you say it was brother?
Who was it fell by the [E] way?
When [A] whiskey and blood run together
Did you hear [E] anyone [A] pray?

CHORUS
I didn’t hear nobody pray, dear brother
I [D] didn’t hear nobody [A] pray
I heard the crash on the highway
But, I didn’t hear [E] nobody [A] pray.

When I heard the crash on the highway
I knew what it was from the start
I went to the scene of destruction
And a picture was stamped on my heart.

There was whiskey and blood all together
Mixed with glass where they lay
Death played her hand in destruction
But I didn’t hear nobody pray.

I wish I could change this sad story
That I am now telling you
But there is no way I can change it
For somebody’s life is now through.

Their soul has been called by the Master
They died in a crash on the way
And I heard the groans of the dying
But, I didn’t hear nobody pray.

PRAYER CHANGES THINGS!

Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus” (Philippians 4:6-7).

“…The prayer of a righteous man is powerful and effective” (James 5:16).

“And pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests. With this in mind, be alert and always keep on praying for all the saints” (Ephesians 6:18).

“In the same way, the Spirit helps us in our weakness. We do not know what we ought to pray for, but the Spirit himself intercedes for us with groans that words cannot express” (Romans 8:26).

“If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness” (1 John 1:9).
