To glorify the LORD, and when they lifted up their
voice accompanied by trumpets and cymbals and instruments of music.

 2 Chronicles 5:13
 Sing Hallelujah to the King

Come everyone and sing praises to the king
He is the everlasting eternal Lamb of God
Slain for our sins on Mt. Calvary
Lift high the banner for the king
He is worthy, Christ the King!

Let all people everywhere rejoice and sing
Sing praises to the King of kings
Sing Hallelujah to the King!
Sing Hallelujah to the King!

Christ was born one special Christmas day
He was born to save the world from sin
So come and sing praises to the King!
Ring the bells loud and clear
For the whole world to hear

Jesus Is His Name

Jesus! How sweet the sound of this name. It is a name like no other
Jesus! At the mention of this name, one can recieve peace and comfort.

But as he considered this, behold, an angel of the Lord appeared to him in a dream, saying, “Joseph, son of David, do not fear to take Mary your wife, for that which is conceived in her is of the Holy Spirit; she will bear a son, and you shall call his name Jesus, for he will save his people from their sins.” -Matthew 1:20-21

Jesus is the name above all names. Blessed be the Name of the Lord

Jesus came to save his people from sin. There is no other who can forgive our sins, but Jesus.
What a Friend We have In Jesus,” All our sins and grieves to bear. Jesus Lover of my soul!
Have you any problems today. Tell it to Jesus. He cares.

Hill Country of Judea

And fear came on all that dwelled round about them: and all these sayings were noised abroad throughout all the hill country of Juda. Luke 1:39

Over to the South side of Jerusalem Elizabeth receives a visit from Mary. On Mary’s arrival, Elisabeth was conscious of the approach of her who was to be the mother of the great Redeemer.
At the time of the visit she was filled with the Holy Ghost, and declared that Mary and her expected child were most blessed and happy. They were honoured and dear to the Most High God.
Can you only imagine the excitement!

It is very good for those who have the work of grace begun in their souls, to communicate one to another.
Those who see their need of Christ, and  desire  righteousness and life in him, can be  filled with good things.

Friends around us can be abundantly satisfied with the blessings he gives.

He will satisfy the desires of the poor in spirit who long for spiritual blessings.

Joshua 20:7 So they set apart Kedesh in Galilee in the hill country of Naphtali and Shechem in the hill country of Ephraim, and Kiriath-arba (that is, Hebron) in the hill country of Judah.

Joshua 21:11 Thus they gave them Kiriath-arba, Arba being the father of Anak (that is, Hebron), in the hill country of Judah, with its surrounding pasture lands.

Glory to God in the Highest

Glory to God in the highest. I seem to hear the angels sing thier wonderful song that day. As the blessed Son of God lay in a manger.
Hope and cheer to all the world. Glory to God in the highest.

The shepherds adored the little babe and worshipped Him that day. He made known to us the mystery of His will, according to His kind intention which He purposed in Him

So let us always do as the shepherds and angels did that day. Sing praises to God. Glory to God in the highest. BLESSED IS HE WHO COMES IN THE NAME OF THE LORD; Hosanna in the highest!”

Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace, good will toward men. -Luke 2:14

Feasting On The Word

FEASTING ON THE WORD

God’s Word is a must for the Christian life. His Word is life to our soul. His Word is our roadmap to Heaven. His Word brings comfort and peace. A good way to start the New Year is in the Word. His Words are true. They will never fail. We can depend on God’s Holy Word.

For some years now I have read through the Bible twice every year. If you picture the Bible to be a mighty tree and every word a little branch, I have shaken every one of these branches because I wanted to know what it was and what it meant … Martin Luther

Feed My Soul

Strength for our fainting soul

Strength to make us whole

Peace to our lives each day

A roadmap to lead the way

Love and joy and Heaven too

A lifeline to get us through

Worries and fears dissipates

Fellowship Divine I anticipate

From the throne room of grace’

Till one day we see Thy face

Take Heed

Take Heed to the Ministry

And say to Archippus, Take heed to the ministry which thou hast received in the Lord, that thou fulfil it.

It is the duty of the children of God to present the Word. Take heed and present it with love.  The Word will not be recieved by all.   Give careful attention that you  follow it out fully and then you may expect the Divine favour and blessing of God.

2 Timothy 4:5 But you, be sober in all things, endure hardship, do the work of an evangelist, fulfill your ministry.

Philemon 1:2 and to Apphia our sister, and to Archippus our fellow soldier, and to the church in your house:

THE GOSPEL IN A NUTSHELL

Jesus replied: `Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind. This is the first and greatest commandment. And the second is like it: Love your neighbor as yourself. All the Law and the Prophets hang on these two commandments.’ (Matthew 22:37-40)
Simplicity of the Gospel
John 3:16-18 “For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. 17 For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him. 18 Whoever believes in him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe stands condemned already because he has not believed in the name of God’s one and only Son.”

Acceping Jesus is the most simple thing one can do. Accept the Gospel by believing in Christ. Christ Jesus comes in and our soul Then Christ does something more for us. He gives us grace to feel our sonship. As we sang just now,—

“My faith shall ‘Abba, Father,’ cry,
And thou the kindred own.”

Having given us grace to feel sonship, Christ gives us the nature of our Father. He gives us “power to become the sons of God.”

Quote: Charles Sprugeon said: Jesus bleeding on the cross, a substitute for sinners, is our soul’s drink. This is the gospel for babes, and strong men want no more.

Overflowing Abundance of Fruit

Which is come unto you, as it is in all the world; and bringeth forth fruit, as it doth also in you, since the day ye heard of it, and knew the grace of God in truth: -Colossians 1:6

All over the world where this gospel is preached. Ye knew the grace of God in truth. Truly experienced the gracious power of God.

Our prayer should be, “Let this gospel grow in me and have an overflowing abundance of fruit.

Romans 1:13 I do not want you to be unaware, brethren, that often I have planned to come to you (and have been prevented so far) so that I may obtain some fruit among you also, even as among the rest of the Gentiles.

Total Dependance On Jesus

It is written in the prophets, And they shall be all taught of God. Every man therefore that hath heard, and hath learned of the Father, cometh unto me.
Isa 54:13
Not that any man hath seen the Father, save he which is of God, he hath seen the Father. Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me hath everlasting life.
John 6:4-47 KJV

How great it is to be taught of thr Father. He is the all Wise One, who created the heavens and earth. Once we have heard of Him, we continually come back to Him. He is our personal mentor, instructor and overseer. Jesus is our everyday guidance and I totally depend upon Him. —Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will shew you things to come. John 16: 13
